As Young Accumulation Association we are very happy to invite you to our Training Course about Cancer which will take place in Ankara / Turkey on 18-23 December 2009. For 6 days 10 different EU and program countries will be in Turkey .

Cancer has become such an important subject in recent times. Not only the young people but also the people in all ages have many difficulties because of Cancer. We aim to increase the awareness about cancer among young people.

Our course encompasses formal learning, non-formal and informal learning and there are no restrictions in terms of age, socio-economic status or educational level. During our training course we will also focus on the role of civil society and collaboration, the importance of international co-operation and recommendations and suggestions for the future.

Asociación Juvenil de Cazalla is looking for 3 EVS volunteers for a 9-12 month project in Lorca, Murcia, Spain.

2007-ES-147 –"Learning from violence"

WORK: The project is about fighting integration difficulties of recently arrived migrants in Lorca. The work consists in preparing and offering a wide, varied programme of education and leisure activities for those young people who are not integrated in the social life which allow them to know other young people in town and break their isolation. Moreover, to complement those activities which are organised in the field by the Town Council.
Keep in mind that the daily activity of the the volunteers involve also a part of "office work" and public attention whithin the Municipalities Offices of Mobility and Youth and Cultural Diversity.

DATES: The projects would start in June, July and August 2010 from 9 to12 months.

Dear colleagues and friends,

European Citizenship and youth participation are core issues within the YOUTH IN ACTION programme of the European Commission. Nevertheless there is a lack of concrete working material, methodical hints and practical guidance for youth workers dealing with the issues. The aim of the meeting is to bring together experts from European level, trainers, leaders and youth workers to discuss the meaning of European Citizenship and youth participation, possible ways to break the issues down for the practice in international youth work and to come up with creative and innovative approaches, ideas and support for practitioners in the international youth field.

The title of the meeting is:

"1st International Youth Meeting: European Citizen - Where are you?"

The meeting will be realized in Germany, summer 2010 with approx. 50 participants from all member countries from the EU.
