CEIPES is developing a new project proposal in the frame work of LLP – Comenius multilateral projects. The deadline to present proposals is the 26 of February 2010.
Project summary The main aim of the project is to design and experiment a training course on non-formal education to be delivered to teachers. The project foresee as well the implementation of the new learning achievements in the class room in order to verify the impact on non-formal education in the school context. More concrete objectives are: 1. To introduce teachers to a more participative, learner centred and human approach. 2. To facilitate teachers the achievement of new competences that can be used in the class room. 3. To foster the educational sense of school, transforming teaching also in education. 4. To promote learning democracy and peace education in school. 5. To increase pupils motivation and interest in school and so increase their achievements (included personal and social). The foresee political dimension of the project will be concretised through measures aimed to create a dialogue with the Ministries of Education in the diverse partner countries. The project last for 18 months ad foresee the following main steps: 1st ðkick-off meeting and design of the experimental course 2nd ð implementation of the course with a group of teachers in the partner countries 3rd ðlessons using the non-formal education approach 4th ðconclusions and design the final course to be valorised Eligible partners § Institutions or organisations providing initial and/or in-service training for teachers and other categories of school education staff; § Schools; § Other institutions or organisations active in school education (including research centres, training centres active in the field of education management or guidance and counselling, educational authorities and public or private companies); § Authorities, institutions or organisations which are not in themselves educational, but whose action can contribute to developing high-quality education; § Networks, voluntary associations and other not-for-profit organisations and undertakings active in the field of education.
