5th International Carers Conference, UK, 8-11 July 2010
The conference will bring together the international community of researchers, practitioners and those with an interest in caring to debate critical issues and exchange expertise and experience. Mapping the policy framework from around the world, the conference will explore innovation and seek real solutions to the care crunch.

The conference will focus on four key themes, identified through latest international debate

- Health, Social Care and Well-being Services
- Caring and Employment
- Technology, Design and the Built Environment
- Financial and Legal Planning Products and Services

When you submit your abstract, you will be applying to one of these four themes; you will also be asked to indicate whether you wish your contribution to be considered by the Academic or the Policy & Practice Committee.

Abstracts, in English, must be submitted between 1 June and 31 December 2009. Your abstract, of between 250 and 300 words must include the following:

- Title of contribution - Name(s) and institutional affiliation(
s) of presenter(s)
- Presentation type (poster or workshop presentation/paper)
- Theme selected (from those indicated, A,B,C,D)
- Outline of the proposed presentation

Abstracts offering contributions based on research and/or policy or practice developments at both national and international levels are welcomed.
