We are looking for examples of successful past or ongoing inclusive education programs for people with disabilities in Europe & Eurasia to be referenced as case studies pf best practices in an analytical paper addressing the issue in the region.

Any reference to/contact information of local NGOs that have implemented or evaluated such programs would be great. Key countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijani, Belarus, Bosnia, Georgia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, and Ukraine. But I will take good examples in other E&E countries that could be used as regional models.

Please contact directly Lynn Losert at llosert@jbsinternational.com

MONTEVIDEO (APC for APCNews) - In 2003, APC launched our first ICT policy handbook "for beginners” to critical acclaim. ICT policy was a relatively new area and very few really understood what was actually involved. The APC handbook was the first comprehensive guide for non-technicians.

Now APC has published an entirely rewritten second edition free and online for anyone to download. More >> http://handbook.apc.org/

Communities have built collections of information in collaborative manners in the forms of encyclopaedias for centuries. More recently, Wikipedia has demonstrated how collaborative efforts can be a powerful feature to build a massive data storage. It is known that Wikipedia has become a key part of many corporations’ knowledge management systems for decision making. Wikipedia is only one example brought about by Web 2.0 with the goal of creating communities of users.
