Boston College’s African and African Diaspora Studies Program (AADS) is proud to announce the inaugural year of its dissertation fellowship competition.
Scholars working in any discipline in the Humanities or Social Sciences with projects focusing on any topic within African and/or African Diaspora Studies are eligible. We seek applicants pursuing innovative, preferably comparative, projects in dialogue with critical issues and trends within the field.

This 2010/2011 fellowship includes a $30,000 stipend, health insurance, a $1,500 research budget, and a fully equipped office. The fellow must remain in residence for the 9-month academic year, deliver one public lecture, and teach one seminar course.
